Matthew's comp baseball team is getting ready for their first tournament July 24th and 25th.

Well.... I thought baseball was going to be done when summer came, but no I was wrong- it's still going! gotta love it!!

Hannah's Dance Review

Summer is officially here and dance is over for a while. Her Dance review was on May 31st. It was soooo cute. She did such a good job and loved every bit of it. When we got there she started telling me everything about what she was to do and where to go- it was so funny!!

For so many years my mother and grandma Leah was sitting there watching me dance. Now I'm sitting with my mother and grandma watching my own daughter dance. It was the coolest thing. It was so much fun watching her!

Can't wait!!

We are so excited because here in a few days a lot of John's family will be coming to town. Sandee and Craig and their 5 kids. Robin and Jake and their 4 boys (they'll be here in the middle of July.) Mike and Michelle and their 2 boys and Ryan and Megan and their little boy. We can't wait to see all of you!!!

Ward Service Project Update

Back in May our ward had a "Ward Beautification Service Activity". We Chose 5 homes in the ward and helped them with their yards. In only a couple of hours so much got done. It really was a neat thing- We've decided that we're going to do a ward fall clean up.

Tyler is going to be 10 months on the 28th. aaahhh- time is going way to fast! Before we know it he'll be having his first birthday. He is so much fun right now, I really love this stage that he's in. (except for the 3-4 days he was cranky and sick because he was teething!) We could sit around all day and just watch this little man do his thing. He's quite the entertainer!

~ He can clap
~ Still no crawling
~He gets up to crawling position and rocks back and forth
~scoots backwards
~Loves cheerios
~ Eats a big bowl of baby cereal in the morning and at dinner
~learning what the sippy cup thing is
~ Likes to ride on Matthew's shoulders
~likes to play peek-a-boo
~Is learning to make all sorts of sounds
~loves to snuggle especially with a blanket
~and has two very cute little bottom teeth

Just looking at this little boy makes us smile!!

The reasons we love you could go on for ever and ever.....
but here are a few....

You are the best example to both me and the children. Always working and studying your hardest. We learn so much from watching you.

Okay fine..... Your way of feeding McKay is the BEST way. And did I mention the easiest and the quickest!

This little boy loves it when you come home from work. I don't think a day goes by when you don't walk over to him, give him a hug and talk to him. He loves you.

Matthew said he loves it when you play with him. you jump, play basketball, baseball, catch, and football with me all the time. your at all my games even though I know your busy studding for your phd. You read with me every night. You take me to movies. we have fun doing just about anything!

There isn't one day that goes by that I'm not grateful I married you. You really are something else. I feel very blessed to be your wife. By you being just who you are.... makes me want to be a little better.

You stay up wayyyyy past your bed time just to finish some yard work. and later tells me that he did it just for me. He helped me redo both flower beds and weed the back and planted a garden. That alone told me a thousand times- I love you! My favorite still has got to be- digging the holes for the flowers!!! You got a good work out didn't you!!!

Hannah said she loves it when you talk, read, play, and dance with her.
You really are her prince!
